Afritec I’ve Got the Power Competition Terms and Conditions
By participating in the promotion, entrants agree to these Rules.
1. Eligibility
Participation in the Promotion is as follows:
1.1 He/she applied for a personal loan or Top Up with Afritec (Pty) Ltd (“Afritec”) and is approved and disbursed during the promotion period;
1.2 Completes the competition flyer entry stub.
1.3 Must be 18 Years and Older
1.4 Must be a citizen of Botswana
In addition, the following people shall not be eligible to participate in the Prize Draw:
1.3 Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees, or consultants of Afritec or any of its associated companies, being members of the CBH Group of companies, and the organisers of the Competition.
1.4 The spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified in 1.3 above.
1.5 Persons under the age of 18 years.
2. Duration
The competition will start 07 November 2023 and end on 29 February 2024. No entries received after 29 February 2024 will be considered.
3. Mechanics
To participate in this competition, entrants must adhere to the following:
3.1 Apply for and have an active loan during the campaign period. Complete the competition flyer stub correctly and in full. Forms will be available for completion and submission at all Afritec Branches.
3.2 The winners of the P5000 monthly draws will be selected at a draw by the 8th of every month for the previous month. The Final Winners will be drawn on 8 March 2024. Winners will be contacted over the phone to be notified.
3.3 When the potential winner is contacted, he/she must go through a process where their eligibility will be validated, and their identity will be confirmed. If validation is not successful, the draw will continue until a winner is validated.
4. The Prizes
4.1 Participants in this competition stand a chance to win the following prizes:
4.1.1 At the end of every month three winners stand a chance to win P 5000 (Five Thousand Pula) each.
4.1.2 The Grand Prize Winner stands a chance to win P 50 000 at the end of the promotion in March 2024
4.1.3 The Grand Prize 1st Runner up stands a chance to win P 20 000 at the end of the promotion in March 2024
4.1.4 The Grand Prize 2nd Runner up stands a chance to win P 10 000 at the end of the promotion in March 2024
5. How to claim your prize
5.1 On the day of the draw, the potential prize winner will receive a telephone call. During this telephone call, the potential prize winner will be required to answer a few questions regarding his/her eligibility as well as be requested to submit a copy of his/her Omang to verify their identity.
5.2 The potential prize winner is not an actual winner until his/her submission is validated and his/her documents are submitted to Afritec. If the potential prize winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be forfeited, and another draw will be conducted until such time that a winner has been identified.
5.3 Eligible winner will be required to collect their prize from the Afritec Head Office, or such other venue as will be communicated.
5.4 Prizes not collected within 3 (three) months of the draw will be forfeited and a new draw will be conducted.
